How

01

Pick your words: Pick 3–5 value words (e.g., kindness, courage, patience), name who/what you wish well (self, family, community), and choose a daily cue (after waking / before sleep).

02

Draft 2–4 lines: Write in your language. Keep it kind, present-tense, and doable. Examples:
Gratitude: “Thank you for ____.”
Intention: “Today I choose ____.”
Care: “May I/We be ____.”

03

Place & repeat: Keep it on a note card or phone wallpaper. Say it once with a slow breath.

Easy Start

Write one line you want to live by today (e.g., “Today I choose patience and clarity.”). Repeat it twice, and save it if you want to keep using it.

Why It Matters

Spiritual well-being grows through small, personal practices. Writing and repeating your own lines gives you a quiet moment to notice what matters and can help you start or end the day feeling steadier.

Questions and Thoughts

  1. “I’m not religious.” → Use it as values lines or a personal mantra - no deity required.
  2. “Feels cheesy.” → Keep it plain and specific; write how you speak.
  3. “I’ll forget.” → Pair with a cue (toothbrush, chai, lights out) or set it as lock-screen text.
  4. “Some lines trigger guilt.” → Make them gentle and non-judgmental (“I’ll try” vs “I must”). If it feels heavy, shorten or pause the practice.

Care Notes

Don’t use this to self-criticize or push through distress. If stillness or reflection brings up tough feelings, switch to a different card or speak with someone you trust.
